Passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side at Chapman House Hospice in Owen Sound, on Thursday, August 12, 2021. Born on March 29, 1929, Ronald Edward McKibbon of Owen Sound, was in his 93rd year.
Dearly loved husband of Gail McKibbon (née Simpson). Loving father of Barry McKibbon of Calgary and stepfather of Lloyd, Kenand Deborah Becker. Proud step-grandfather of Josh, Mitchell and Jacob.Ron will also be missed bythe Simpson family and his many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his parents, Billy John and Pearl McKibbon and his siblings, Stan McKibbon (Marie), Stewart McKibbon (Marion), Norm McKibbon (Frieda), Fern Parkin (Gordon), Dorothy Hughes (Roy), Florence Weller (Bill) and Irene Hoey (Wilson).
Cremation has taken place and a graveside memorial service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound, on Friday, Augst 20, 2021 at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow. Space is limited and guests are required to RSVP through the funeral home website, or by calling or emailing the funeral home.The service will be livestreamed from the funeral home website (live streaming menu option on the homepage).
