It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rose Hilson (née Floras) on Friday, May 26, 2023 in her 94th year.
Rose was kind and warm and loved to laugh and her sense of humour shone through to the end. She will be sorely missed by her children, Patricia and David (Maria) as well as by her cousin Alex Flow (Judy) and her in-laws, Bob Hilson (Dale) and their families. Rose was predeceased by her husband, Don Hilson; her sister, Patricia Aman; her nephew, John Aman; and her brother, Fred Floras.
The family would like to thank all the wonderful caregivers who enriched Rose’s final years.
A Celebration of Life for Rose will be held at St. George’s Anglican Church, 1049 4th Avenue East, Owen Sound, 519-376-3287 on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. Visitation will be from 10:30 until 11:15 prior to the service. A reception in the Church Parish Hall will immediately follow the service.
