Shawn "Lenny" MacDonald

Passed away suddenly at home on April 7, 2024. Born in Owen Sound on January 16, 1965, Shawn Harold MacDonald of Tara, was in his 60th year.
Dear father of Brandon MacDonald (Laura Watson) of Owen Sound and Kaitlin MacDonald (Matt Cook) of Tara. Loving grandpa of Nathan, Vienna, Hayden, Harper, Jackson, Tatum, Callan and Autumn. Cherished son of Kaye MacKenzie. Dear brother of Kevin MacDonald (Kim), Brent MacDonald (Susan Cox), Blair MacDonald (Trudy), Lisa Lancaster (Darryl) and Trevor MacKenzie (Tara). Shawn will be sadly missed by Gramma Tracey (Tracey Harron), his best friend Andy Sammut (Mara), and by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his fathers Wayne MacDonald and David MacKenzie.
A celebration of Shawn’s life will be held at Tara Community Centre, 150 Hamilton St. Tara, on Friday, April 12, 2024, from 3-8 p.m. A private graveside service for Shawn’s family will take place in Hillcrest Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
