It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of Susan Mae Bluhm of Owen Sound, on February 14, 2025, in her 73rd year. Recently predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years, Larry Bluhm.
Loving mother of Kristin and John Campbell of Burlington, Michael and I-Wen Bluhm of Kamloops BC. Cherished grandma to Liam and Charlie Campbell, and Isaac and Henry Bluhm. Dear sister-in-law of Marlene Witzke of Desboro, Susan will also be missed by her nieces and nephews, extended family and close friends.
Predeceased by her parents Russel and Joyce Watson of Tara, her sister Sandra Reid and brother-in-law Fraser Reid, In Laws Elmer and Alvina Bluhm of Chesley, brothers-in-law Paul Bluhm, Bob Witzke, sister-in-law Mary Bluhm.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Sue was known for her welcoming heart, caring soul and cheerful sense of humor. She celebrated family and cherished every moment spent with her children and grandsons. She loved the simple joys of life from baking, making crafts or building sandcastles with her grandkids to a shopping trip, quilting session, knitting, or lunch date with friends. It all made her smile.
Ultimately her happy place was with Larry and together they built memories that will continue to shine within all of us. The best kind of friend anyone could want Sue was happiest when her people were happy.
A come and go memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 1 – 4 p.m. at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. West, Owen Sound, (519)376-7492.
