It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Doreen at Brightshores Health System, Markdale, of Flesherton in her 82nd year. Beloved and devoted wife of 62 years to Laurie. Loving mother of Mark(Sharon) of Eugenia, Yvonne(Glen) Townsend of Shelburne, Tim(Shelley) of Feversham and Becky(Travis) Hill of Ceylon. Cherished grandmother of Kenneth(Lyndsee)Wickens, Logan(Emily) Wickens, Holly(Nelson) Martin, Cassie Page, (Cat), Kyle(Mariah), Brett Page (Beth) , Thomas Wickens(Sarah), Allyssa Wickens(Rob), Karlie and Charlotte Hill. Proud great grandmother of Mylee, Jack, Luke, McKenna, Hartley and Ellie. Dear sister of Audrey Wass of Barrie, Roy(Bonnie) Dawn of Rob Roy, Allan of British Columbia and Wilma Knudson(John Hogg) of Wasaga Beach.
Predeceased by her parents Lawrence and Laura Dawn, brothers Ivan and Barry Dawn and sister Shirley Roberts.
A private family service has taken place. Interment Maxwell Cemetery. A celebration of Doreen’s life will take place at a later date.
