Suddenly, at home, with family by his side on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. He was 75 years of age. Wally, beloved husband of Kerry (nee Cruikshank). Wally was Kerry’s love and life. They did everything together.
Wally cared very deeply for his family. Loving Dad of Joni and her husband Dave Mackay, Holly and her husband Brian Boucher-Gauthier, Tanya and her husband Jason McGarr, and Shawn Gauthier and his wife Tiffany, Proud Grandpa of Ashton, Eric, Alannah, Satine, Cinnia, Story, Sonja (Josh), Johnny, Ashton, Greyson, Finley, and Milo. Great Grandpa of Eleanor. Dear brother of Jenny and her husband Ed Semenuk.
Wally was always willing to help others and was very active in the community. His presence will be missed by many.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 2:00pm at St. Mary’s and the Missions Roman Catholic Parish, 554 15th Street East, Owen Sound. Cremation will follow.
Memorial donations to the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter would be appreciated by the family.
