Glenn passed away peacefully with family by his side at Lee Manor in Owen Sound, on Sunday, February 5th, 2023. Born on June 23, 1935, in Elbow, Saskatchewan. William Glenn Baker, of Owen Sound, was in his 88th year.
Survived by his dearly loved wife Margaret Baker (née Lindsay), his loving children Scott Baker (Debra) of Owen Sound and Lisa Elliot (Will) of Williamsford. Proud grandfather of Garrett (Jocelyne), Matthew(Kelsey), Brody, Lindsay and great-grandfather of Mason. Brother of Mae Fuglsang of Goderich and brother-in-law of Arthur and Marilyn Lindsay of Durham.
Predeceased by his parents John and Muriel Baker, parents-in-law Arthur and Frances Lindsay, siblings-in-law Anna Mary Hargrave (Sneath Hargrave), Joe Lindsay (Christine), Emma Philips (Howard), Jim Lindsay (Wilma). Glenn will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews. He leaves behind his cat companion, Boo.

Glenn was a lifelong member of Georgian Shores United Church. He loved to spend his time outdoors. He tended to a vegetable garden and took pleasure into tending the yard. He loved walking outside. Glenn was a simple man who had simple pleasures.
A visitation for friends and family was held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492. A Graveside Service for Glenn will be held at the Durham Cemetery on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Marsha Roberts officiating.
