William "Roy" McKenzie

Peacefully at Chapman House Hospice on Saturday, February 8, 2025. Born on Wednesday, January 8, 1941, William “Roy” McKenzie of Owen Sound, was in his 85th year.
Beloved husband and best friend of Gwen McKenzie (nee Keeling). Proud father of Paul McKenzie (Michele) of Victoria, BC, and Ross McKenzie (Franka) of Owen Sound. Loving Pappa of Hollie Ann (Derek), Bella (Edward), Lukas (Tamara) and Tyler. Cherished great-Pappa of Oliver, Everett and Anika. Dear brother of Bob McKenzie (Diane), Dan McKenzie (Bonnie) and Pat McKenzie (Sharon), and brother-in-law of Ron Keeling (June) and Joan Henry (Ken). Roy will also be missed by his cousin Lovera Hawtin (Keith), along with many other cousins, his nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his parents William and Ruth McKenzie (nee Sutherland), and his brother-in-law Murray Keeling (Joyce).
In keeping with Roy’s wishes, cremation has taking place and a private graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery will be held in the spring. Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
